1.5 ATA Multiplace Oxygen Chamber in Thailand

A Complete Overseas Hyperbaric Chamber Solution for a Wellness Clinic in Thailand

OXYHB recently completed the successful delivery and installation of a 1.5 ATA four-person modular hyperbaric chamber for a professional wellness clinic in Thailand. The project included equipment customization, international shipping, on-site assembly, system commissioning, operator training, and after-sales technical support.

Unlike conventional installation projects, this clinic was located on the second floor of a commercial building with no freight elevator and limited access. Through OXYHB’s modular engineering design and experienced overseas installation team, the complete project was delivered without requiring any structural modifications to the building.

This case demonstrates OXYHB’s capability to provide complete turnkey hyperbaric chamber solutions for wellness centers, recovery facilities, spas, rehabilitation centers, and commercial healthcare projects worldwide.

Customer Background

The customer operates a modern wellness clinic serving local residents and international visitors in Thailand. The clinic focuses on wellness experiences, relaxation services, lifestyle recovery programs, and membership-based wellness packages.

As customer demand continued to grow, the clinic planned to introduce a commercial hyperbaric chamber as a new wellness service. The objective was to create an additional premium offering while improving daily operational efficiency by serving multiple customers during scheduled sessions.

The customer required equipment that would be reliable, easy to operate, and suitable for continuous commercial use while maintaining a comfortable environment for guests.

Because the project involved a growing wellness business, investment efficiency and long-term operating costs were also important considerations.

Project Challenges

Although the treatment room provided sufficient installation space, transporting a conventional one-piece chamber into the building presented significant logistical challenges.

The clinic was located on the second floor of a commercial property without a freight elevator. The existing passenger elevator could not accommodate large equipment, while the staircase included several narrow passages and tight turning points.

In addition, the customer wanted to preserve the building’s interior finishes. Doors, walls, windows, and decorative elements could not be removed or modified during installation.

Several equipment suppliers proposed standard integrated chambers, but these designs could not be transported safely into the building.

The customer therefore required a customized solution that could simplify transportation while maintaining professional equipment performance after installation.

Why the Customer Selected a 4-Person Hyperbaric Chamber

As a commercial wellness facility, the clinic needed equipment that could support efficient daily scheduling.

Instead of installing multiple single-person chambers, the customer selected a four-person configuration that allows several guests to participate in scheduled sessions at the same time.

This arrangement offers several operational advantages:

  • Increased customer capacity
  • More efficient use of available floor space
  • Simplified appointment scheduling
  • Lower operating costs per session
  • Greater flexibility for group wellness programs
  • Improved return on equipment investment

The spacious interior also creates a comfortable environment suitable for commercial wellness applications.

Why a 1.5 ATA Chamber Was the Ideal Choice

After reviewing the clinic’s business model and operational goals, OXYHB recommended a 1.5 ATA modular chamber.

For many wellness facilities, this pressure configuration offers an excellent balance between operating efficiency, user comfort, and equipment operating costs.

The selected model provides:

  • Stable operating performance
  • Comfortable cabin environment
  • Energy-efficient operation
  • Low operating noise
  • Reliable pressure control
  • Straightforward daily operation
  • Long service life
  • Reduced maintenance requirements

These characteristics make the chamber well suited for wellness centers, spas, recovery studios, hotels, and premium fitness facilities.

OXYHB Modular Engineering Solution

Following a detailed assessment of the installation site, our engineering team designed a customized modular chamber solution specifically for the building.

Rather than manufacturing a traditional one-piece chamber, the complete system was divided into four precision-engineered modules.

Each module was designed according to the site’s access dimensions, allowing technicians to transport every section manually through the staircase before completing final assembly inside the treatment room.

This modular engineering approach eliminated transportation limitations while preserving the chamber’s structural strength, sealing performance, and operational reliability.

The modular design also provides additional flexibility should the customer relocate or expand in the future.

Overseas Installation Services

OXYHB dispatched two experienced installation engineers to Thailand to complete the entire project.

The installation process included several stages to ensure every component met factory standards before customer acceptance.

Equipment Inspection

After delivery, engineers inspected every shipment, including:

  • Chamber modules
  • Structural frame
  • Oxygen supply equipment
  • Electrical control system
  • Air pipeline components
  • Accessories and spare parts

All components were carefully verified before installation began.

Transportation Inside the Building

Because the chamber had been manufactured as modular sections, each component could be transported safely through the building using the existing staircase.

No lifting equipment, cranes, or structural alterations were required.

The building remained fully protected throughout the installation process.

Chamber Assembly

After transportation, engineers assembled the chamber on site, completing:

  • Structural assembly
  • Module alignment
  • Sealing installation
  • Air pipeline integration
  • Electrical system connection
  • Control system installation
  • Oxygen supply integration

Every stage followed OXYHB’s standard assembly procedures to ensure long-term operational reliability.
